In gearing one step ahead for the rising industry, the Swiss Arts Council, Pro Helvetia, organised the Swiss Design in Hollywood World Tour featuring Swiss designers and illustrators, to promote their top designers’ works in major Hollywood productions. The One Academy partnered with The Swiss Embassy and MDeC in bringing this exciting world tour to Malaysia that presented invaluable opportunity for aspiring animators and digital artists to learn from some of the world’s best professionals in the animation and film industry. The traveling exhibition was accompanied by a 1-day international design seminar presented by two notable Swiss digital artists specializing in the art direction for films, animations and its special effects; Nicolas Imhof (Harry Potter, Star Trek: Nemesis, Stuart Little, Batman & Robin, etc) and Christian Scheurer (Final Fantasy IX, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix, etc), which was held on the 18 June 2010 (Friday) at Ballroom, Royale Bintang Hotel, Mutiara Damansara.
