In conjunction with China's International Student Animation Festival event Aniwow! 2009, The One Academy Multimedia students proudly won the title for Best Interactive Web Work of Interactive Design category.

Truly a memorable experience, Tan Sue Lin, Dominic Chin Wern Sern and Benjamin Clementre Encarnacion represent Malaysia to appear for the first time in Aniwow! 2009, an animation event that is organized by Communication University of China (CUC) and Beijing's TV station which 30 over animation experts from around the globe attended.

The students winning piece received the Certificate of Honor for their online campaign, titled "Is your kid chubby?" targeting the Malaysia parents to raise awareness on child obesity. The aim was to create the importance of children's health amongst parents using a website that would educate, provide solutions and create awareness of a serious material in a fun and entertaining way. Judges from around the world expressed their opinions on why the title has won because it has a vivid, informative and creative ring to it that was presented in humor.

The trio is grateful to the education they received at The One Academy, as its challengingly structured syllabus and lecturers has motivated them to strive through their hectic schedule to serve The One Academy as proud students to attain frontline in Beijing to bring the academy to the top. The industry-driven lecturers have taught them to think fast like second nature in competence to the real world. "At The One Academy, we learned that Multimedia is all about solving problems. While one solves a problem, one also needs to provide a rich informative memorable experience too," the trio states.
