Recognized for its laudable effort in providing the best creative education, one of Malaysia's leading art & design colleges The One Academy was once again awarded, for the second successive year, the coveted BrandLaureate Awards - Best Brands in Education of Communication and Design by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF).

The One Academy Joint General Manager Tan Chin Wee received the honour on behalf of the college at the Gala Dinner held on January 8, 2010 at the Shangri-La Hotel. The award, comprising a certificate and a special trophy was presented by the guest of honour, Tan Sri Rafidah Binti Abdul Aziz, the former Minister of International Trade and Industry.
