Year Three
Encompass a national student design competition where students will carry out a project that develops ideas and solutions for the award; extend the breadth and scope of job-seeking portfolio by undertaking a series of challenging design activities based upon reviews of student's portfolio by design professionals; develop a subject and format for a professionally-oriented project focusing towards an envisaged career; carry out a subject research relevant to the practical design work and present it in a degree essay format.

Encouragement is given to the development of versatility, leading to a wide range of career opportunities in design and illustration within the fields of publishing, advertising, corporate identity, marketing and publicity as well as freelancing.
