Year One
Establish a range of underpinning skills and understanding in creating digital image and sound in the principles of interactive multimedia, and in locating contemporary practices in wider cultural and theoretical perspectives that explore the impact of digital technologies on the lives of people.

Year Two
Concentrate on the practices of inventing, creating and realising interactive multimedia artefacts. Study includes theories of narrative, ludology (the study of games), and the design of interfaces. There is also an emphasis on collaborative team work.

Year Three
Undertake a contextual study which addresses some of the cultural and theoretical domains of interactive multimedia. Throughout the semesters, students will carry out a Project Planning module to study the potential audiences or markets, as well as Professional Contexts and Career Visions to look into the world of work in terms of career opportunities, and legal and ethical issues to prepare them into workplace.

Career Path
Encouragement is given to the development of practical skills and competences relevant to the realisation of interactive multimedia artefacts, leading to a wide range of career opportunities in film and television, video games design, web design and development, advertising and multimedia sector.
