Field Trips

Field trips are frequently organised to give you the appropriate exposure to the working environment. Along the long list of destinations, you will be able to visit production houses, printing companies, broadcast stations, animation studios, advertising companies, multimedia studios, art galleries, exhibitions and many other interesting places.

Motivational Talk

We understand that besides constant studying and creating exceptional creative works, you would occasionally require motivational and inspirational support.

Within your 3-years, you would be attending a Neuro-linguistic Workshop (NLP) conducted by a professional personal development mentor. You will experience a change in thoughts and be more equipped in emotional and intellectual dealings.

Seminar/Conference

Our lecturers are constantly arranging for professionals from the industry to come share their experience and insights to the students. You would be invited to various seminars and conferences throughout the year. We would be doing the coordination for these gurus to come share, all you have to do is make yourself available and bring along a learning ear.

Induction Programme

On this day, new students will get to know more about TOA and its administrative procedures. There are ice-breaking sessions where you can get aquatinted with each other as well as new lecturers and tutors.

This programme is organised for new students of all intakes. It helps to introduce new comers to the exciting student experience at the academy apart from getting to know the academy staff / faculty members.

Outbound Training

You are placed on a test of mental and physical strength during this training. You will learn the importance of team building, leadership skills and how to overcome challenges with confidence.

Exploration Week

The Exploration Week plays a vital role in ensuring students are given space to reflect on their learning outcomes while balancing their pace of progress in order to serve as a comforting support to their vigorous learning curve throughout the semester.

Exploration Week is neither a break nor a mid-semester holiday. It is the time for respective lecturers to arrange for field trips to places of relevance, workshops, movie reviews and even through tutorials or specially arranged critiques sessions and seminars. These activities are planned with the idea of creating excitement in a relaxing environment without compromising the learning outcomes for your courses.

Replacement of cancelled classes can be scheduled during this week besides diverse academic excursions.
