Under the student category of the Summit Creative Awards, a dynamic team of Multimedia Design students - Benjamin Encarnacion, Tan Sue Lin and Dominic Chin - won a Gold award for their Multimedia online campaign 'Is your kid chubby?' the same entry that won the team Best Interactive Web Work in Beijing Aniwow! 2009.
Three other student groups secured a second-place win in the competition with a Silver for their respective entries; 'The Last Make-Up' by Amir Hakim, Aurelia Liu, Ch'ng Shi Yi, Ong Jeng Chyuan and Tan Tsuey Fong, 'The Next Victim' by Tan Yun Hao, Tan Tsuey Fong and Joyce Lee and 'Aunty Joyce' by Chia Kah Rou, Kellie Ong and Lim Sheng Yu.
For open category, Multimedia Designer Reuben Teo bagged a Gold award for The One Academy with 'The One Academy Counseling Kit 2009' entry and together with his team mate Mafex Tay Mun Fow, a Silver award for their winning effort in 'Creative Media Award 2009' website.
Entries were judged by international panel of professionals from creative agencies in the United States, Japan, Canada and more. The Summit International Awards is recognized worldwide as one of most prestigious awards that grants for creative excellence and effective advertising and communication content.
