As Advertising and Graphic Design expert Marius Kasperas thrilled the students with various inspirations he has found over the years.

It was another invaluable Masters Train Masters learning opportunity for The One Academy students, as Advertising and Graphic Design expert Marius Kasperas thrilled the students with various inspirations he has found over the years.

Standing in front of the huge crowd, mainly students curious about the life and experience of this Lithuanian Graphic Design expert, Marius recounted the inspiration he encountered along the way since his childhood with a warm smile and charisma that drew everyone’s attention.

Growing up in Vilnius, Lithuania during the Soviet days, young Marius was deprived of the common toys such as toy cars and trucks that kids in this part of the world take for granted. However, with boundless creativity and intricate crafting skills, he has created his own toy truck by assembling materials available to him such as paper boxes. This perseverant DIY spirit was essnetially the keystone that motivated him to constantly improve his knowledge.

Eager to introduce the audience to the dynamic inspirations found in colourful Lithuania, Marius played a video of the breathtaking 3D animation projected on the huge façade of the Cathedral Basilica of St Stanislaus and St Vladislav, the Catholic Cathedral in the Vilnius town hall square during one Christmas eve. Witnessing this wonderful display of creativity, students were amazed that animations projected outdoor could ignite a different kind of excitement too.

After graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts where he majored in Graphic Design, Marius worked on an array of prominent projects, including the designing of racing car exteriors. Since he was an avid fan of automobile racing, he even tried his luck by racing in the car which carried his design and won grand prizes.

Marius awed students a few paper cups with graphic patterns that could change according to the temperature of the water these cups contained. He later revealed that these cups were drawn with heat-sensitive inks, and reminded students that with profound observation, inspirations could be found everywhere in our life.

By equipping students with marvellous artistry that turn ideas into world class successes, aspiring artists and designers in The One Academy will surely stand tall in the worldwide creative arena if they expand their imagination and stay inspired!
