Job Scope

  • Assist programme leaders and HOD in the documentation processes within the course, ensuring procedures adhere to the Malaysian Quality Agency, ISO and partner universities.
  • Coordinate and disseminate information to the course team about new academic processes that are set by the Academic Heads.
  • Manage the logistics and organization of programme related activities such as field trips, talks, seminars and industrial related collaborative practices with student involvement.

Job Scope

  • To assist in operations mainly in organizing and executing tasks related to student welfare. This ranges from hostel viewing, hostel check in/out, transportation facilities, tenancy agreement, leasing, maintenance and other related matters.
  • To ensure that all the hostel documents and correspondences including tenancy agreement, leasing, maintenance and other related matters are updated and filed systematically.
  • To monitor and train hostel wardens.
  • To provide counseling advice to student and parents on Hostel matters.
  • To provide schedule for Shuttle Service.
  • Provide a locker key to student/staff upon request.
  • To provide full support in all coordination, administration and operation work to ensure success of induction program, graduation ceremony, student development and training, and other assigned functions/projects.

Job Scope

  • Participate and create networking connections among educational committees, advisory groups and regulatory bodies for current updates, policies, seculars, acts and regulations of MOHE, Statutory Bodies, Professional Bodies and QA Policies.
  • Manage and communicate implementation of MOHE, MQA and related bodies regulations for TOA.
  • Analyses academic data, assessment results, grades, attendance figures and other specific academic areas.
  • Create, oversee and prepare data for the senior leadership team, audit and assessments by external bodies.
  • Determine the need for and arrange provision, analysis and evaluation of data and detailed reports/ information such as: Programme and Course enhancement plans and other CQI reports by semester and annually for further action by the Head of Quality Assurance.
  • Establish, maintain and up-keep the filing system of the ISO documentation.
  • Arrange for Internal Audit and External Audit by preparing all necessary documents for the audit processes.
  • Organise and upkeep all academic documentations in compliance with education codes and rules & regulations of the MOHE, MQA, ISO, MYQUEST, Validation Boards and Professional Bodies.
  • Facilitate Programme Coordinators on QA data management, policies, and systems.
  • Review and facilitate working practices of internal and external audit assessments; the Department’s best practices; and College regulations relating to student and course administration.

About the Job

Your role will be focusing on research, teaching and external engagement in digital media design and creative technologies, within the Faculty of Digital Media Design. This will include the delivery of an innovative, high-quality educational programme that meets the needs of undergraduate students, industry and professional groups.

Requirements

Candidate must possess expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • Web and Mobile Design (UI & UX)
  • Creative Technologies (eg. AR/VR, interactive design and related technologies)

Essentially a broader cross-disciplinary vision is desirable.

Key Accountabilities

  • 1. Research
  • Plan and undertake research and/or professional practice in Digital Media Design and/or related disciplines.
  • Access and contribute to research of learning and teaching in Digital Media Design and/or related disciplines.
  • Contribute to the research and reputation of the School at a faculty, institutional, national and/or international level.
  • Engage with relevant external individuals or groups to maintain professional currency, inform our thinking and create opportunities in relation to research and professional practices.(additional tasks for Senior Lecturer):
  • Develop skills to lead, manage and contribute to projects at School and Faculty level.
